This Is Where the Story Began
We are the first permanent local marketplace dedicated entirely to cooperative products in northern Morocco Born from the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development, we opened our doors in June 2022 with a clear mission: give cooperative women, who had spent years producing without a structured outlet, a real, stable, and visible commercial presence Today we bring together partner cooperatives and a diverse selection of products spanning honey, argan oil, olive oil, saffron, medicinal herbs, traditional crafts, ceramics, and more
But Nouara Ain Lahjar Cooperative is not only a place to sell Our space includes a fully equipped training room where cooperatives receive capacity-building workshops throughout the year, helping women modernize their production, improve quality standards, and exchange experience with one another We also house a café and restaurant that prepares exclusively bio meals using the very products sold in our market, so that the commitment to natural and authentic living runs through everything we do
This market is a dream that the cooperatives brought to life It gives the added value that cooperative products deserve, and opens a real window for women to show what they make
